Two Stroke Engines

Two stroke engines have lots of disadvantages this is why people don't use them as often. For some pros and cons on two stroke engines click here. When you use a two stroke, you usually have to mix the gas and the oil together, which sometimes makes it time consuming. Two stroke engines are used in boat engines, motorcycles, chainsaws, and more. A two stroke engine fires on every revolution(when it goes up, and down once).

Two stroke engines usually sound smoother, but louder than four stroke engines. Two stroke engines also pollute the air more than four stroke engines, and they are usually lighter, although lately people have come out with four stroke engines that are almost as light.

Two stroke engines have more power at high RPM's, but they can't pull as much as four stroke's. Lot's of people want  to  get rid of two strokes because there inefficient in gas consuming, they are very noisy, they pollute the air, they require  lots of work to fix, and they don't have as much power as four stroke engines.

This is a picture of a two stroke engine.
